LMC is a lot like an orchestra, and Ed Easley is the maestro. As President of Development, all of the sections look to him to set the tempo, to know when to play their part, and to make the chorus come together to make a beautiful sound. Altogether, Ed has almost 45 years of experience in the real estate business, having begun his illustrious career shortly after graduating from the University of Texas in Austin (go Longhorns!). Since then he has overseen the development of thousands of units across the United States and Canada and managed several multi-billion dollar portfolios.
Since joining the LMC family in 2012, Ed has established himself as a leader and innovator in the industry and pushed the company to becoming one of the most successful multifamily developers in the country. In addition to his duties at LMC, Ed is the Chairman of the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) Multifamily Leadership Board and a full member of the Urban Land Institute (ULI). Let’s hear from Ed a little bit more of his experience and what he loves most about working for LMC!
